If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, I didn't know you were in Guatemala. We could have hooked you up with SA.

Hey. New board.

I emailed SA before I left. Completely different areas of the country. As it took me 2.5 hours to get driven less than 50 km on Guatemalan roads, a meeting didn't really seem conceivable, unfortunately.

Trust my rage

Gris, I speak decent Spanish and I need to practice in preparation for Puerto Rico.

Hey. New board.

Sweet! You should send me a rambly email that uses all sorts of things I haven't learned yet so I need to research it to understand! Since I basically only know present, preterite, and simple future tenses at this point, that shouldn't be too difficult.

I have the Oxford spanish/english/español dictionary on my palm (which is worth the $30 so much it HURTS if you carry a palm around, though a memory card is a necessity - over 300,000 entries, many with dozens of examples) so vocabulary, at least, is easy for me to parse, generally.

When are you going to Puerto Rico? And why? (Don't answer here, unless others are curious - put it in the email! Yes, i'm easily excitable.)

The status is NOT quo.

Emily, thank you!

Okay, back to work. Grumble.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Gah.

My best free hosting 1gb web account (Spymac) can't be accessed any more due to them wanting verification via cell phone ("free") or a $1 paypal charge.

All they want is to send a code to the cell phone so that they can be certain a person is getting it, I guess.

Andi has the same issue.

The problem is neither of us has a cell phone. And I'd prefer not to pull only a single dollar from my bank account just for this.

sigh.

I wonder if I can have it sent to someone else's phone?

Jilli!!! I was perusing Torrid's website, and I had to check and see if you were aware of these shoes: [link]

Oooh! No, I wasn't aware of them. Curse this lack of gainful employment!

(Sorry I haven't been around much, gang. I miss everyone, but I figure I should take advantage of my unemployment and Get Stuff Done, which means less computer time.)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Silly Jilli.

Unemployment is meant for advancing any mental illnesses you have, exacerbating addictions (or cultivating new ones) and watching your pile of laundry grow.

Not something craxy like getting stuff...accomplished.

I know, I know. But! I've made skirts and stuff! And have decided to tackle learning how to sew bodices with princess seams (which are curved seams, and have always thwarted me in the past).

I feel *extra* virtuous right now, because I just got done cleaning out and organizing the tea cabinet. I got rid of all the (very very) old boxes of tea. Squick font: one of the boxes I opened had cobwebs and a spider egg in it. Gaaaaah!

Since I cleared out the cabinet and it's all organized now, this means I can buy some new teas I've been eyeing at Whole Foods, right?

Big Thank You to Laura for letting me use her SMS on her cell to activate my Spymac account.
