I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Much, much better. Turns out what I had wasn't food poisoning, but (whitefonted for TMI) severe, severe blockage which led to literal indigestion--as in, not able to disgest anything that was in my stomach. Apparently, it is possible to have too much fiber. Still not quite up to snuff, but no longer feeling miserable.

Oh, poor you! Glad you're feeling better, though.

Hec - when you are around, I need your haircutting advice. I'm thinking I want to go JZ or juliana short...but with my round face, I know I need a different cut. Ideas???

What is even happening?

Anne, eek! Scary! Did you have to go to the doctor, or figure it out on your own? I'm a skipper and a skimmer. Also? Water water water water water. Drink like you're going to the dessert.

Not Hec, but I have a full, if oval face, even when I'm thin (which I'm not so, right now). I personally think volume is key Suzi, and some sort of shape that draws attention to the eyes.

Am suddenly overcome with the urge to commit Violent Femmes filk: Big hair, I know you're the one...

Good ideas Cindy. I just wish I had a trusted stylest where I could just say - make it short and KNOW that he/she would pick a style that would work for ME. I have been trying, but I still have not found anyone that I click with.

I guess I'm still not over my stylist breakup of a year ago. I hates him and wouldn't go back, but still, he knew JUST what to do to make my hair look hot.

You mentioned the break up the other day, too. What happened?

Oh, I think I remember that, MG. That was awful. He was a jerk.

Cindy, my mom figured it out pretty quickly, since the same thing has happened to her.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Hey, is there any news on the Buffista cookbooks? I've been waiting to put the "Christmas" presents for my British and Canadian Buffy fan friends together to send them. They all tease me a *lot* about my online "Buffy board," and they love to cook, so what better present, right? So that's what I spent the money for their presents on. But if it's going to be much longer, I really need to get them something else and get it in the mail to them. I'm a little embarrassed that I'm so late getting them anything.

Erm. Not wanting to nag, just wondering if there's any sort of news, or a timeframe, or anything.

MG, I've been dithering about whether to cut my hair again, or try to let it grow out a bit more. It's at an awful stage right now, too long to be as easily dealt with as short-short hair, not long enough to really do anything interesting with. I'm sort of deciding by default at the moment. I'll probably go short-short again in spring.

And Anne, owitch. I'm very glad you're better.
