BWAH! That cracked me up beyond all reason, Aimee.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
:)
Her initial post was all in ASSCAPS, too.
I always like to think that it's an internet newbie who doesn't know any better or someone with a stuck capslock key. But then, I'm naive.
I remember when I was an undergrad, and the keyboards for the ancient public computers in the dorms were so crappy that everything was either caps or lowercase because changing in between was such a pain. Backspace usually didn't work, and the letters on the screen were often quite far behind the keyboard. Made for some beautiful posts, let me tell you!
Volcano Erupts in Alaska - Augustine Volcano, located on an uninhabited island 180 miles from Anchorage, erupted twice today.
It's been working on this for a few days. It's near where my mom lives, except she's in Arizona for the winter.
And the workweek ends for me with a mere 6.3 hours of overtime.
Jilli, The Sixth Annual Edwardian Ball is coming up. This year? The Gilded Bat.
It's not nice to wave such things at the unemployed goth.
My pinkie toe is numb. Just totally numb. Ima waggle it for a few minutes before I emergency Google though.
And I have achieved unsatisfactory dvd-age. I still can't quite grock how to make it talk to the things I want it to talk with so I am going to RTFM and finally eat something first. Then, boxes talking together. I hope.
Unless my pinkie toe refuses to feel. Then a new problem all together.
eta: Pinkie toe has unnumbed. Well, I think it would if I quit sitting cross legged long enough. So mostly unnumbed. Enough that I am not Googling.
That's interesting...the autism site. But it's ironic, too, because the advocates don't know what she really thinks any more than anybody else does. I am profoundly grateful to be able to express what I want to say. Now if it were only easier to get people to *listen*.
Huh. The boxes are talking but this seems too ... easy?
I'll fuss with it tomorrow. See if I can really swap some things to tape and some to dvd. That kind of thing.
Right now I can watch everything without switching inputs. Go me.
Forgot to pick up tissue when I ran to the store. I'm just *that* smart. Currently sneezing damn fool head off and looking for a little purse-sized kleenex packet. Oh, and watching old Forever Knight eps. Because I am sort of smart. And he's hot.

I loved that show. I think Sci-fi used to show it a lot during the day. I used to come home at lunchtime every day and watch it while eating a Lean Cuisine.
As much as I love GWD, I often wonder how the series would have turned out with Rick Springfield.
Drive-by to share an article I just found about the hiring process at Google's cafeteria: [link]
For my trial, I was told to make a soup, salad, appetizer, entree, vegetarian entree and dessert. I prepared Steve's Google-icious Menu: edamame hummus, Bahamian chicken chowder, sun-dried tomato agnolotti with roasted mushroom fra diavolo sauce, Indonesian seared rock shrimp salad with Asian slaw, Ligurian stuffed petrale sole, giant baked stuffed portobellos with asiago cheese, baked tofu with mango-macadamia crust, streusel stuffed plums with candied ginger and balsamic pomegranate reduction.
