I loved that show. I think Sci-fi used to show it a lot during the day. I used to come home at lunchtime every day and watch it while eating a Lean Cuisine.
As much as I love GWD, I often wonder how the series would have turned out with Rick Springfield.

For my trial, I was told to make a soup, salad, appetizer, entree, vegetarian entree and dessert. I prepared Steve's Google-icious Menu: edamame hummus, Bahamian chicken chowder, sun-dried tomato agnolotti with roasted mushroom fra diavolo sauce, Indonesian seared rock shrimp salad with Asian slaw, Ligurian stuffed petrale sole, giant baked stuffed portobellos with asiago cheese, baked tofu with mango-macadamia crust, streusel stuffed plums with candied ginger and balsamic pomegranate reduction.
I've eaten in DH's cafeteria at work. I suddenly feel cheated.
I feel cheated for eating in my own dining room.
But it's ironic, too, because the advocates don't know what she really thinks any more than anybody else does.

Tomorrow I shall cook a dijon mustard-crusted rack of lamb with potato and kumara gratin. That menu sounds nifty, yet shall I fear no cuisine, for I shall have lamb.
Cripes. I set up the electric kettle to heat water for coffee, and then forgot all about it for like twenty minutes.
Good thing I also forgot to plug it in.

So, yesterday, at the tea place, I was working on my independent study incomplete. I got much done. Only, I just realized that when my computer ran out of battery, I lost a page of what I'd written. Ugh.
Just a brief vent...
My marrige seems hopeless and I have no idea what to do about it. I'm currently hating my life and hating myself. Ugh.
