I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Four years ago, I can't imagine I would ever even think about sharing that information...and on the WEB! What have I become???

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hang in there and remember you have Casual Friday friends here in LA too...
Thank you, Kristin. And I do appreciate it.

Yep. Been there, done that, was a little startled.

Still, I command it to stop, and for that little baby girl to stay where she belongs, and get fat and strong, 'til it's actually time for her big debut.
CashSprog, listen to Auntie Cindy.

It made her really very happy, though. So that makes it all worthwhile.

I have the nightly massive headache. 3.0 worked on it for a while before I left (at 11:30, cause I was slothy today) and I caved and have taken a handful of drugs and put an ice pack on my neck. It's kinda helping which makes the whole hating ice thing sort of irrelevent. And I think I am clenching my jaw, triggering the pain. Not right now, but just in general. Stupid dumb life stressors.

Now I am going to catch some tv and try to find my cats. Ungrateful felines aren't on the bed with me yet and I freaking came home for them. Otherwise I would be sitting in front of the fire at 3.0's still. With her cats. Who love me. Or, at least, let me buy their love with cat treats and belly rubbing.

move out and draw fire

Wow. That article on the DHS investigation disturbed me. Do people not know that the FBI can access your library records without a warrant? And they can then share that information with other federal agencies. It's a power granted by the Patriot Act.

"I tell my students to go to the direct source, and so he asked for the official Peking version of the book," Professor Pontbriand said. "Apparently, the Department of Homeland Security is monitoring inter-library loans, because that's what triggered the visit, as I understand it."

The eavesdropping was apparently done without warrants.

This indicates that neither the professor nor the paper's staff writer knows the law as given by the Patriot Act.

Americans can no longer read whatever they want. Travel outside of the country is considered suspicious. An interest in political science or military history is considered potentially disloyal. And all of these things are being actively monitored.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay, Cass for headache-goneness.

~ma and hugs for Cash.

Why, yes, I am awake at 4:30am, have been for an hour or more. Got a cold, so I'm not feeling too great.

Yikes Andi. I hope you feel better and can get some more sleep. Teh Sick is teh suck.

Huh. It is really late. I should go for that sleep thing myself. I've been skewing towards vampire hours recently which is a bad bad habit. Especially since my mom is going to be here tomorrow and will fret.

I am watching a show on dogs that is really cute and stressing out the puppycat when there is barking.

Trust my rage

Sending hugs and restful vibes towards Cash. Any spotting during pregnancy is scary!! And to Baby - Stay put, sweetie!

We went to see The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe last night. Ellie was so good during the movie. It was so much fun to see one of my favorite childhood lands turned into a movie. I thought they did a great job.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

CJ woke up early this morning and decided to entertain himself with some dice. The noise woke me up and now I'm WIDE AWAKE, while he has been sent back to bed.

No fair.

I don't know about that, but I do really think it was the right thing to offer/do. And, I'm DYING to give J her Christmas present. I picked out about 10 fun ornaments yesterday at The Paper Store so she can start her own collection. I hope she likes them. Oh, and J's coming to Christmas Eve with my family, and mom's gonna make her some snowflake ornaments (she's been making them as gifts this year, and they are just gorgeous).

Poor non-sleepy folks! {{{{}}}} all around.
