Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

They look best on willowy types with small waists--think Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In my head I prefer them on someone more hourglassy. Get some booty up under that skirt.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

ahem.....I apologize for the asscaps...

THEY FUCKED UP MY PAYCHECK A-FUCKING-GAIN!

I'm better now.

I love circle skirts.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

willowy types with small waists

Not necessarily willowy so much as the small waist, in the women I've seen who rocked the circle skirt. Some of them were very substantial women, just curvy. If you feel like going to the trouble of corseting for it, that alone would probably give you enough waist to rock the circle skirt.

ION, erika, Hec and I were talking about you last night -- we went to see Match Point at the Metreon, and we noted that the beautiful and detailed Lord of the Rings pinball machine in the lobby had been replaced by an equally beautiful and (insanely) detailed Sopranos pinball machine. So, come mid-May, set aside a few minutes during the F2F. We really need to show it to you and see your face as you take it all in.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good god, Aimee. Are you sure you don't work with Hec?

I would never dream of putting a circle skirt on my body.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I dreamed a little dream last night, which would make a brilliant crossover fic.

Dr. House's attention is drawn to the case of a 25 year old blonde woman, who is in excellent shape, aside from the fact that she is dying. Buffy, asserts the older, British man who eventually arrives to be at the young woman's side, may simply be dying of having worn her body out in the extreme stresses of her calling. While Giles hopes they will find a treatment for Buffy, he believes that the toll taken by years of super strength and miraculously fast healing is irreparable. Dr. House believes Giles is off his rocker and lying about this. Sadly, for once, Dr. House is wrong. Buffy does actually die while in his care.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Aimee, what is their problem? Are they complete morons?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Not entirely, brenda.

Mind you, I got the majority of my check. It's just the amount I have put into my savings. But still.

ChiKat, it's the ADP software. I watched my HR person fix the account numbers a couple of weeks ago.

Who knows? I feel like going home until they can freaking pay me right.

Hush, you. If Buffy dies, she needs to do it heroically.

What is even happening?

I knew I hated that House show.
