Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Always Anti-fascist!

Good thoughts for Cashmere. My conversation with my brother? I might as well be talking to myself. I don't think I'll ever try again. Just like grunt at him in the pause between monologues.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Question for my Bitches:

Do I wear the dress I have and am uncomfortable in to my holiday party tonight or go buy a new dress that will not get worn that often and feel slightly more comfortable?

How about you buy a new dress that is comfy and can be worn often. Maybe something that works for work and with a little fuss can be made party worthy?

Mostly lurking...

RE my early-morning TMI: Ok. K-Bug and C just crack me up. As does Cindy.

Cashmere, many thoughts and prayers going out to you and the little one. Little girl! You stay put a little while longer! I get that you want Christmas presents, but really, that's no excuse for you to scare your parents this way.

Jeez, Daniel. I can only hope that the backlash that is beginning towards Bush keeps picking up momentum.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I wonder if DHS is monitoring the electronic request system. Most in libraries that I know of, especially those in university ones, would not willingly give up this kind of information. They might give the information if compelled to do so, and there might be a gag order preventing them from telling the student about it, but I wouldn't think that they would proactively tell the government. It seems like that would be necessary for them to find out in the first place, unless it were something electronic that was monitored automatically.

Food for thought.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Much ~ma for Cash and bebe. Cindy, if you talk to her again, tell her to make good and sure her doc schedules her for an ultrasound to make sure it's not placenta-related, if she didn't have one already.

Not that I'm a worry-wart or anything, except for the part where I am.
