What is even happening?

vw, I think that's a great letter.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I know Wilson's an oncologist and he's not on House's team, so what's his connection with House work-wise? Do they share an office?

Their offices are near one another and connected by an, apparently, private balcony.

They take coffee breaks at the same time?

Yep. And meals. And the cafeteria workers often ask if they're together at checkout. And House says "yes". And then Wilson pays for both.

They meet up for nooners?

Well, there's no evidence against it.

___________

I had a wonderful time at knitting/crochet group last night. And now I'm up and must get ready for work, but I'm terrified of going in. I'll either be fired or won't be fired. And both are terrifying.

I'm glad your group went well. And I hope work goes better than you're expecting. Your letter makes sense to me, and if I was an employer I'd feel better knowing where I stood with an employee, and knowing why they've been absent.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good job, vw. I think you did great at laying out your concerns and what you hope to get out of this. I kind of feel like a bit more of a lead-in would be helpful, but that's my only quibble.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That's a good letter, {{{vw}}}. Much ~ma for going into work today.

Trust my rage

vw, I know you already sent the letter, but I think it was very well written. If I were the employer, I would really appreciate being filled in on what is going on.

I'm crocheting while I wait to hear back...to keep myself calm. Do we think I have a small, medium, or large head? I really don't know what size to make this hat. And it doesn't help that it doesn't give dimensions. That would be helpful.

Edit: I think I have a medium head. We're going to hope, anyway. Otherwise, there will be much ripping out.

Where'd everyone go? I'll quit talking about my big head! I promise!

I'm getting the pig!

Erin - thanks for the Hasselhoff link!

All kinds of ~ma to you, vw. I hope the email is well received. And I think your head is average size (above average purty) so I vote medium.

Teppy's shoes have been dropped off at the post office and I still made it to work on time. Not sure how that happened but perhaps I've mastered power over the space time continuum. And perhaps I'll win the lottery today. And perhaps co-workers will stop asking me to work up special breakdowns for them for year to date percentages for 2005.

I want a nap. Morning!

If you do, you better book a flight here right away. I miss you!
