Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, forgot to mention, yay to erika's Betsy for just having a problem tooth and nothing worse.

And HUGE yay to MG and C and all your family and hers. I'm so, so glad her parents are doing what's right, and that it's going smoothly so far (legally, anyhow -- it must be hugely emotionally fraught, but thank God there won't be much legal wrangling on top of that).

Trust my rage

MG, that's great news about C. So glad to hear it.

erika, I'm glad to hear Betsy is doing better.

vw, I'm sorry the soup didn't turn out well.

ImeN, I thought I had found the perfect job for me in San Juan working for Customs and Border Patrol. It might not have been my dream job, but I was well-qualified for it. Unfortunately, it closes today and they will only accept applications through the mail. IOW, no faxes or e-mails. I'm sort of bummed about it, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

ION, I'm about in tears. I just spent an hour making broccoli cheddar soup, and it's crap.

Oh boy do I know that feeling.

Yay, MG & C!

Yay, erika! I'm so glad it wasn't anything worse than dental work.

vw, maybe the hivemind here has a way for you to save the soup from the garbage.

Mostly lurking...

It's more that I made it as a treat for Emily, and I'm pretty sure she's gonna hate it. And, I'm just in a rough state today. Ugh.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Thanks, Daniel.

Congratulations, MG!

Stephanie, do you know anyone in PR you can fax it to who can then courier or hand-deliver it to the office?

Believe it or not, this is also unacceptable. I guess even though it closes today, I guess the application really had to be in the mail on Friday so it could be delivered today. Joe thinks I should just send it anyway, but I'm not sure I'm up to the effort of sending it, knowing it will be thrown in the trash.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Stephanie - I vote for mailing it. If you have it ready, already, that is. Send it, expecting it to be trashed. Then you can be pleasantly surprised when the call and say "where have you been all our lives"...
