We're still working on a plan, but so far it involves being sent to prison and becoming somebody's bitch.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Perkins! Go sleepy...

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Yay wine!

Good night. Hung out with my fellow-damaged, we made jokes about the collective pathos being enough to sink a small cruise ship, but it was nice and safe and loving and good. I didn't get much packing done, but I got organized....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay for good night, J.

Good nights are good.

We have fire, wine and I found Squeakaboo pictures.

Good night.

Multiple Nip/Tucks are ... disconcerting. Even if I have seen them all so far.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Heh. You sound like me when I watched two seasons of OZ in a weekend. I was fucked up for like two weeks later.

Yeah, 3.0 and I are sipping wine, watching really disturbing tv and talking. I suspect we'll need years of therapy after this.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Cass, so sorry about the news. Hang in there and remember you have Casual Friday friends here in LA too...

Granted, some of whom may be homeless at the moment, but eventually.

Trust my rage

Timelies! Joe and I are going to try to see Narnia tonight - I'm very excited about going out.

Last night, around 8:15, after I was already in my pajamas, my friend called to say she was stranded at a Christmas party with her kids up in Chapel Hill. Her husband is in Afghanistan and her car was dead. So, Joe and I packed Ellie in the car and went on up to get there. When we arrived, there was an entire room full of hip, nicely dressed people, and me in my pajama pants and sweatshirt. It was the kind of moment that new parents just cringe at - you can see the party right in front of you, but you can't stay and you really don't fit in.

Anyway, we got my friend and her kids, managed to get all three carseats in the car (yay 3rd seat!), and headed home. I wouldn't trade my snuggly munchkin for a party, but the dichotomy of life before/after baby was really striking last night.

eta: EpicT, your decaf is ready. I sent you an e-mail with the details.

So I think Thanksgiving crush boy may actually count as a BF type thing now. Hrm, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with one of those though. And we're both leaving for home tomorrow. Argh circumstances.
