Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

but I've managed to be a wee bit productive.
That's a win to me, Spidra. Stuff was done. There are days when if I can say that about anything, including feeding the cats, it's scored in the victory column.
I don't think my mother ever told me that. But she did. All of us.

The teenagers were going ice skating this afternoon and invited CJ and I to join them. We had a great time. I did better than I would have expected of myself, though my ankles protested after a while. CJ is a wild man on the ice...fearless and lacking style, and yet he is everywhere at once.
Sounds like it was a great time, MG.

I just got back from seeing Brokeback. I don't even know if I have words.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok, I am calling on an apartment tomorrow.

It's on Tiara Street.

That's gotta be a sign, right?

Our wings are not tired.

I want you to move there so I can send you a card at Tiara Street.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Aimee!!!!

Cass - I'm still basking in "good-day-ness". It has been a long time since I have had 16 hours of goodness strung together so I'm going to bask as long as I can.

I came back from Brokeback both times feeling raw around the edges, but I loved it and would be glad to see it again.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Cass, I saw Brokeback today, too. I thought it was heartbreaking.

In honor of Steph, I just opened the C. Krug port. with dark chocolate

I think that whenever anyone does something in my honor, it should involve booze and chocolate.

It's Fate! Or, at least, Awesome!

Bask away, MG.

I came out of Brokeback raw but the kittens have snuggled all around me so it feels cathartic. I am definitely going to see it again though.

But did you love it, Steph?

I don't know if "love" is the right word. I liked it a lot, I was very moved by it, and there's a lot about it that I need to process. Heath Ledger blew me away. And I suspect that Jake Gyllenhaal has the Big Block of Concrete factor.
