Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I know! Perfect, huh?

Aimee!!!!

Cass - I'm still basking in "good-day-ness". It has been a long time since I have had 16 hours of goodness strung together so I'm going to bask as long as I can.

I came back from Brokeback both times feeling raw around the edges, but I loved it and would be glad to see it again.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Cass, I saw Brokeback today, too. I thought it was heartbreaking.

In honor of Steph, I just opened the C. Krug port. with dark chocolate

I think that whenever anyone does something in my honor, it should involve booze and chocolate.

It's Fate! Or, at least, Awesome!

Bask away, MG.

I came out of Brokeback raw but the kittens have snuggled all around me so it feels cathartic. I am definitely going to see it again though.

But did you love it, Steph?

I don't know if "love" is the right word. I liked it a lot, I was very moved by it, and there's a lot about it that I need to process. Heath Ledger blew me away. And I suspect that Jake Gyllenhaal has the Big Block of Concrete factor.

I am at still processing, moved, and pretty sure I need to see it again soon. Ledger was really amazing, he just broke my heart in eight different ways. And Gyllenhaal has the BBOC thing going. It explains the mustache.

That mustache was hideous. And I find that Jake reminds me of my cousin's kid, which kinda skeeves me. And yet, BBOC.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Empress! Tiara Street! I hope it's perfect in every way--including price, Aimee.

Yay for CJ, and hooray for MG's good day!

Also, anytime there's wine and chocolate, we'll be there! Or something. Is good together. All those milk-and-chocolate people just haven't matured to wine-and-chocolate yet, I think.

Brokeback *still* hasn't opened here. Buckle of the Bible Belt, sure, but I'd think there's money to be made, and I can't see our theatres turning down income. I haven't heard a word about boycotts, either, but then I avoid local news like the plague, so there may have been some. I may have to drive to Raleigh to see it.
