Raq, I hope it was a small earthquake!
We are having friends over for brunch this morning. Should be fun, I think. I'm vascillating between waking the baby up and wlaking the dogs or potentially waking th ebbay up by putting away the clean clothes that are sitting on the table. Both have to get done but I'm not sure which I want to do first.
6.7 quake. [link] And it lasted a LONG time. No damage at our place, but dang, that's a big quake for an all-cement city.
Yeah, that's not small!
Yikes. Here's to no after shocks, Raq.
There's so much going on for people here, and I've been feeling kind of overwhelmed this last week (my tonsils were taking turns being swollen, but that seems to be over now). I've been sending ~ma where asked, and now I just wish to

Whoa - earthquake! Jeebus.
That was the first news I saw this morning. Good to hear that all are safe. Earth literally moving under feet not good.
Raq, I'm so glad you posted!
Cass, every one else said it better. You're loved. I'm sorry for your loss.
Juliana, your new digs sound perfect. I hope SF is good to you.

Stephanie, good luck to you! I hope PR is a nice, peaceful rest for you guys.
Andi, glad to hear the tonsils are better.

That was pretty scattershot. I'm a little frazzly.
Last night at dinner, Kara: "Oh Nick, I love you so much. I love you more than [I love] mom!"
Today's Kara: "Mommy, you know what your biggest job as a mommy is?"
Me: "What?"
Kara: "To love me more than anything!"
Pffft.
