{{{Cass}}} I'm glad you were there for her, and that your family has come through this.
Hospice folks rock. They get money from me every year.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yes, nut I'm not sure when. Probably towards mid to end of May, depending on a few things like the house selling and some course Joe has to attend.
Damn. I think we're going to be there in the first part of May--5th through the 11th.
I'm sorry, Cass. There is never an easy death, but it sounds like your grandmother had a death that was as loving and gentle as you could make it. I hope you heal soon.

Well, ION, I'm off. Horrid errands to run, and comics to love. Ciao.

Cash, I'm sorry we will miss you guys. I'm sure it will be by just a few days and that's too bad. I was orginally hoping to still be here for Ellie's 1st birthday (June 4th) but that seems almost impossible now.
Right now, the plan is for our furniture to be packed up by May 1st or so and then we will all fly (the three of us plus two dogs) to San Juan somewhere between the 18th and Memorial Day. I'm hoping a house will be waiting for us. That almost never happens with the Army, but I hear its pretty common at Ft. Buchanan.
{{{{{{{{{{{Cass}}}}}}}}}} I'm so sorry for you loss. I am glad your grandmother is at rest and out of pain, and that she had all of the love and support of her family when she did.

That sort of sucks. But I hope all goes smoothly for you guys and you have a house waiting for you when you get there. We'll be doing this trip sans kids so I'll console myself with many rum-flavored drinks on the beach.

We had a tough morning that went much better than expected. C's dad signed his part of the guardian ship papers, saying he recommends us. This is going to make the rest of the process MUCH easier.
I went to shake his hand goodbye at the end and got pulled into a hug and he whispered "thanks" in my ear.
MG, that is great news. It's also good to know that the man really understands what's happening and appreciates it. I hope C is feeling good about it.
