Buffy: I was regrouping. Spike: You were about to be regrouped into separate piles.

'Potential'

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If I only had a brain...

By 2016, most, if not all, Buffistas will have moved to San Francisco.

It's inevitable. Give in to the tie-dyed side of the Force!

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

What are you doing in the Presidio?

I've been working for the Internet Archive, home of the Internet Wayback Machine, as a Testing Engineer since the end of April. Good job, fantastic people, utterly gorgeous workplace -- how many people can say that they can see both the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from their office window?

And Buffista job~ma got me the job. How much do the Buffistas rock? Lots, that's how much.

Hey. New board.

Hi, everybody!

I'm skipping about 800 messages to say, um:

Guatemala is awesome.

I'm learning mucho espaƱol.

Gershwin Girl is still hot.

I'll be back next week, don't miss me too much, and I love you all. Adios.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I may not sell Pete's cards, just for "I kinda know him!" thrills.

Unless, of course, I can get a lot of money for them.

I don't know if you can get *lots* of money for them, but some of his cards go for more than I think little rectangles of cardboard should.

I'd need a REALLY well-paying job to afford my shopping habit AND living in SF. But hey, if one turns up, the Household o' Reason will consider it.

I am very, VERY glad to know that North Beach is treating juliana as she should be: with awe and wonder.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

That's great, Karl. I've cruised their website more than a couple times hoping I'd see a job that'd fit me. Not yet, though. Speaking of the tie-dyed side of the Force, I'd be happy to meet up with some of the Bay Area Buffistas. I'm surprised that there are more living here than I thought there were. How many live in the East Bay like li'l ol' East Bay Chauvinist me?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Spidra, check out the Buffista map on Frappr. [link]

Thanks, dcp. What a neat little site. I'm so behind in my web-consumption these days.

eta - and thank YOU, beth.

move out and draw fire

how many people can say that they can see both the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from their office window?

I can't, but I can say that my job interview whence I got my current job took place in an office with this view. I knew it was meant to be when I walked in. (Now if only they'd ever let me transfer back to California!) Job is no wise as cool as the Internet Archive, though.

The DH has been in a homesick way since we watched The Fog last weekend, talking about Point Reyes and the whole area. We'd love to move back, but I think Pacific Northwest is more likely...after finishing life in DC, of course. We are on evacuation standby (birdy flu), so may be returning to the States sooner than I thought.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gronk. I was up most of the night crying. T (my best friend since 1st grade), her parents, her sister, her b-i-l, and the two nephews (my nephews that I am always bragging about), are moving to Texas sometime in the next six months.
