Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

So, heard from my mom at about 5:45pm EST, my dad's procedure apprantly went very well and the surgeon is very pleased. She'll see him tomorrow.

Good news, Nora. Much recovery~ma to him.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Pee-Pee TeePees for the Sprinkling Wee-Wee

Oh lordy. Plus?

An ideal baby shower gift

Isn't that what it's supposed to prevent?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Great news, nora!

Continued ~ma heading out to those and their families who need it.

After an extremely angering day of yet again being a buttmonkey at work, I'm angry/depressed enough that I can't focus to rewrite my resume or job hunt. No, I'm just going to be drinking muscat and watching The Blues Brothers movie. Much destruction and inner raging. And really hot music.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Thanks guys.

In other very shallow news, I am trying to figure out whether to go up a size on a coat I just got in the mail from Lands End. It fits, but is sort of snug. Which, could be key in keeping out the cold air. I'm just in this limbo between two sizes and I rounded down in this case and am trying to figure out if it really does fit or if I'm trying to talk myself into it.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My mom is scheduled for another surgery, her first for 2006, on Thursday. This time they are doing an open procedure to place a PD cath since the one they placed laproscopically keeps moving around and not functioning.

They are scheduling this as an outpatient procedure. WTF. She is packing her nighty and toothbrush and is planning on making them keep her. I'm surprised she is not packing the red boa.

Sigh.

Now tagless for your comfort.

So, heard from my mom at about 5:45pm EST, my dad's procedure apprantly went very well and the surgeon is very pleased. She'll see him tomorrow.

That's excellent news, Nora!

I considered the pee-pee tee-pees but I learned pretty fast how to avoid the golden baby shower. I think DH was a little slower on the uptake, though, and could have possibly used them.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

but we really have a SooperSekrit plan to wean my girls off the Shaven Brows Path.

That's a good plan. Tell them that some mornings, it's just more important to have extra time to devote to properly-applied eyeliner.

Even Jilli is growing her eyebrows back. Which decision I applaud because it gives me something else to admire about Jilli aside from her steady drawing hand.

Awww, you flatterer. (And goodness, I don't even remember mentioning that I was growing them back, so I'm impressed with your attention-paying.)

Nora, that's wonderful news!

And, as always, ~ma to anyone who feels they need it right now.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm surprised she is not packing the red boa.
Red boa is really more of a two-night accessory (I am tempted to put one of them winky bits here. I won't. But I am tempted.)

I just flicked powder and some light lipstick on. I call it "dressing for dinner" since it's pretty much all jammies, all the time here.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Nora, great news!

Hey, did anyone watch the 9:30 Scrubs ep? Who is the actor who played Sam? I can't place him and imdb is giving me no love....
