Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

That is the exact reason I am pro-premarital sex.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We popped into a men's warehouse today. He's just feeling around for materials that he likes.

I know Nordstrom's has personal shoppers, Cash. Send him off there.

I plan to. Oh, how I plan to. We have one five minutes from our house.

I'm giving him a little bit of advice--we're going to Puerto Rico in May and he's got a big conference thingy so I want him to look nice. Just not drive me insane in the bargain.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

First World Rant: I'm so fucking pissed.

My Mother got me a beautiful Christmas present. A purple cashmere twinset. The cardigan, however, is too big.

I go to Lord & Taylor. They don't have the right size in stock. "Can you do an inter-store ship?" "No".

So, what I have to do is return the sweater here in NYC, call Scarsdale (which has one) and order it from them.

Here is the problem: sweater was purchased with coupon. So I return sweater, and pay full price and shipping for Scarsdale sweater OR I take Metro North to Scarsdale and walk twenty minutes each way to the fucking mall or whatever.

What. The. Fuck.

What is even happening?

Anyone ever notice that (.)(.) looks like boobies? Cause it can't just be me. Not in this crowd.

Not just you. I got COMMed with the (.)(.) once, but the COMM was attributed to someone else, and I was (no really) too shy to say, "Wait, that was me."

Now it mocks me, every time I use the BRQG.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I get to go home in 31 minutes*. I'm not sure it's soon enough.

  • Well, to the liquor store, and the grocery store, and maybe the other grocery store, and then home.

No, wait, super secret option 3 is to get a zip car to scarsdale. I wonder how the math works out on this...

Still costing me money, however. Fuckers.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

So, what I have to do is return the sweater here in NYC, call Scarsdale (which has one) and order it from them.

Or you can machine wash the sweater and put it on high in the dryer. Voilá! Smaller sweater!

Sorry they're hassling you, Trudy.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, given that I had too much lunch too fast I have made a cup of the chamomile-mint tea and can report that it is very good.

I had the China Black as iced tea at the restaurant and it was also good -- so I am hoping that it will be good hot too. (They had about 7 different sorts of tea at the restaurant - but those were the two I picked.)

Exactly. Your wedding night is not the time to find out that it is the *whole* chicken.

Metro North to Scarsdale and walk twenty minutes each way to the fucking mall or whatever.
This. You will know your power whenever you wear the twinset. Or badger the Lord and Taylor customer service into doing this for you.
No, wait, super secret option 3 is to get a zip car to scarsdale.
Better! I am pro zipcar.

Now it mocks me, every time I use the BRQG.
This is amusing. But very wrong. The BROQ should not mock. The worst it should do is keep returning the same COMM while you frantically hit Reload.
