Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I practically guarantee you'd want to smack him after an hour. "What's worsted wool?" "What the hell is seersucker?" "Is linen cotten?" *sigh*

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know Nordstrom's has personal shoppers, Cash. Send him off there.

Art Crawl!!!

I just got back from running errands and having a late lunch. It was spitting rain when I left (2ish) - while I was walking from the first store to the post office it started raining much more serioiusly. The post office was crazy busy - - who knew that they were busy between 2 and 3 pm? Not me. Walking from the post office to the restaurant -- it started sleeting. While I was eating my lunch -- the sleet changed to the most gigantic snowflakes ever. It was still snowing the most gigantic snowflakes ever when I walked home and now it's snowing VERY hard indeed.

But - I FINALLY mailed my niece's Christmas presents and I was able to buy myself some very nice tea. (Have you guys heard of a tea company called Tempus? Or possibly Tempest? They are from Texas but have tea houses in California.)

Cash, if there's no Nordstroms, send him to Men's Warehouse.

With Owen.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Mostly I don't like shopping with other people, and I felt nothing but (possibly misguided) pity for the various blokes who were being towed around Marks and Sparks by their wives/girlfriends these past few days. This may just be because I'm not very good at shopping with other people myself, though, and am assuming that the blokes are having as hideous a time as I would be, were I them. (...and I don't know what worsted wool or seersucker might be either. Um.)

Apropos of nothing: Best. Batman. Joke. Ever.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

No. So you will have to report back after trying the tea.

I saw chai latte stuff at Trader Joe's today but passed the temptation. Has anyone here tried it? They've had things in the past that aren't as cloyingly sweet as most brands so there was tempation.

I am hoping that it is their "sample" when I shop soon. I adore try before you buy things. Significantly less buyer's remorse.

eta: BWAH! Batman funny. Also to correct a word which, though spelled correctly, wasn't exactly the right word and that loses points too.

That is the exact reason I am pro-premarital sex.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We popped into a men's warehouse today. He's just feeling around for materials that he likes.

I know Nordstrom's has personal shoppers, Cash. Send him off there.

I plan to. Oh, how I plan to. We have one five minutes from our house.

I'm giving him a little bit of advice--we're going to Puerto Rico in May and he's got a big conference thingy so I want him to look nice. Just not drive me insane in the bargain.
