'Him'

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Good lord. You don't see that on the cartoon.

What is even happening?

Oh dear, you two. Not helping me resist the 'shipping, no sir.

...

You know what's freaky? In the last week or so, quite by accident, I have come across two familiar names in other people's journals--people I don't know so well.

One LJ user is named raptorgirl. The other is named Lillybean.

That's just not right.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen and the Yule Log Channel.

I'm procrastinating going in to have my blood sugar checked (prior to my next OB appointment just to double check there's no diabetes).

What is even happening?

Gmail's sign-on page had a Yule log for a few days, but they've already taken it down, which I thought was weird. It seems to me it should have stayed up until the New Year.

Who is that great big boy? That can't be Owen. Sheesh. Maybe you ought to have a new baby. Apparently someone switched your first one with some kid.

Is it just a standard blood test, or is it the fast/drink/test torture of hell, Cashmere?

It's just standard blood draw. But I'm already starving so I need to get out the door and let them do it. The reward is that there is a Starbucks next door to my OB, so I can get a latte while I'm out.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Oh, what a cutie that boy is.

Cindy (or anyone else with an opinion) Kara's eyes were glued shut this morning. She has a bad cold. Does she need to go to the doctor?

Yeah, Deena. I'd take her to the doctor. 9 out of 10 times these days, my pedi takes my word for it when I say my kids have conjunctivitis, and just phones in a script. She probably has conjunctivitis, from rubbing her nose, and then rubbing her eyes. Sometimes, Chris gets allergic conjunctivitis (which is just as nasty, but just starts for reason other than infections, and requires a different type of drops).

Wash your hands like there's no tomorrow, by the way. And while you're at the doctor, I'd ask your doctor if Aidan comes down with it, if they'd need to see him, or would just take your word for it.

Thank goodness.

Yes! (You should get a goodie too, just in case /bad influence).

move out and draw fire

Thanks for that, billytea. Like I needed to be more depressed.

Owen is so Christmassy! Even household should have a little kid in jammies for Christmas. Even households that don't celebrate Christmas.

My DH is trying to be all "with-it" and just said "I think I'm going to buy [the Wagner opera] Tristan und Isolde, coz it's the diggity-bomb."

It's kind of cute, in a sad way.

Thanks, Cindy. I hadn't run into this one yet. I think we may take Aidan in anyway, since he got an ear infection last time they got a cold. I don't know quite what happened. We all got a little sniffly right before Christmas; day before yesterday we started feeling better, last night Kara played exorcist and today we're all much sicker than we were even before Christmas. Argh.
