All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

I keep hoping that one morning, my grandma will just have peacefully died while asleep, so that she can never feel any of this pain. Or as little as possible. I don't think that will happen but I can hope a little.
They're getting really good at pain management. Also, I figure we all wept through Terms of Endearment, despite knowing we were being emotionally manipulated, for a reason. When someone's illness is terminal, there's not an iota of shame in being a demandy, won't-take-no-for-an-answer person, when requesting an increase in pain meds for a loved one.
Her illness is sudden, now I hope her death can be also. At least I hope that it is as peaceful as possible.
Yes, this. I am so sorry Cass. If she has to go, I hope she goes softly, easily, and quickly. Love to you all.
I am sorry for the cancer and debt that is dogging the buffistas. I am acquainted with both and neither association has embiggened me.
Amen.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Cancer is stoopid. Way too many cool people die from it.

Cancer has also killed half of the Tasmanian devil population over the last five years.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Good lord. You don't see that on the cartoon.

What is even happening?

Oh dear, you two. Not helping me resist the 'shipping, no sir.

...

You know what's freaky? In the last week or so, quite by accident, I have come across two familiar names in other people's journals--people I don't know so well.

One LJ user is named raptorgirl. The other is named Lillybean.

That's just not right.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen and the Yule Log Channel.

I'm procrastinating going in to have my blood sugar checked (prior to my next OB appointment just to double check there's no diabetes).

What is even happening?

Gmail's sign-on page had a Yule log for a few days, but they've already taken it down, which I thought was weird. It seems to me it should have stayed up until the New Year.

Who is that great big boy? That can't be Owen. Sheesh. Maybe you ought to have a new baby. Apparently someone switched your first one with some kid.

Is it just a standard blood test, or is it the fast/drink/test torture of hell, Cashmere?
