vw, do you have a neighbor who might have off-street space? Or could your landlord know someone in the area that would let you park it for a couple of days?

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Mom and dad dropped off mom’s car for me on Christmas Adam (the day before Christmas Eve…it’s a joke my brothers and I made up when we were little).
This is so cool.
If I were in your shoes and couldn't find a friend with an off-street space, I'd have the car towed to the nearest street with no time limitations and no fussy neighbors. In more urban neighborhoods people tend not to call in and report parked cars unless they're there for weeks.
tow it to Tom's and my old street in S-ville. E me if you want an address to use. It's not permit parking and, barring snow emergency, parking is pretty mellow and plentiful.

Whee!
You know you're a Smallville fan when someone talks about towing a car to an S-ville, and picture it briefly comming alive ala Christine, before being pecked to death by a giant green glowing chicken.
Ok, this is me, about use the sewing maching I got with last year's Christmas money, for the first time.
Lovely tiara, Windsparrow!
I am pretty sure I don't understand the parking issues, so I won't get involved in where vw's car should go. But I will congratulate her on making the decision to donate - that's pretty darn cool and responsible.
I just got around to seeing Mirrormask last night. Wow, what a gorgeous movie.
Andi, you look as sparkly as your tiara--that one was a good choice, Daniel.
There apparently is not enough coffee in the world to combat my gronk. I feel like I could sleep for days. I hate getting over the flu. I mean, I'm glad not to have it anymore, it's just that it takes so bloomin' long to get back to normal. Pfeh.

So glad you're in your new home!
You look lovely in you Tiara , Andi. And honestly days off in a row are more important that when MOST of the time.

Ugh. Me, too. Granted, I didn't fall asleep until after 1 a.m., and that took a whole Ambien (I normally only need half, if I need to take it at all), but still -- gronk.
The cold symptoms have not left, but they also haven't gotten worse. I'm attributing this to Airborne. Maybe I can beat this thing back yet.
