[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Andi, you look as sparkly as your tiara--that one was a good choice, Daniel.

There apparently is not enough coffee in the world to combat my gronk. I feel like I could sleep for days. I hate getting over the flu. I mean, I'm glad not to have it anymore, it's just that it takes so bloomin' long to get back to normal. Pfeh.

You look lovely in you Tiara , Andi. And honestly days off in a row are more important that when MOST of the time.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Ugh. Me, too. Granted, I didn't fall asleep until after 1 a.m., and that took a whole Ambien (I normally only need half, if I need to take it at all), but still -- gronk.

The cold symptoms have not left, but they also haven't gotten worse. I'm attributing this to Airborne. Maybe I can beat this thing back yet.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My steroids seem to be acting like a stimulant. I'd so much rather not be sitting right now, which is a little unusual for me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How long does the Ambien take to wear off for you, Steph? That feeling of knowing you have to force sleep now, but that it'll fuck with waking up--oy.

Are you still doing Ray?

The cold symptoms have not left, but they also haven't gotten worse

Small victories? Ceasefire?

I hope everyone feels better soon.

My steroids seem to be acting like a stimulant. I'd so much rather not be sitting right now, which is a little unusual for me.

The time I took a five day course of steroids each day was a different reaction. The first day I blew up like a balloon. Then I was horny. Then I was starving. One day I was evil... I can't remember the fifth and none of them really went away completely until the week was over.

Of course, you're on a long, low, dose, right? Mine was short and high. But I suspect my sage wisdom of "shit can do ANYTHING to you" is still sound.

Yes.

Hmm. I wonder what day I'll be evil....

Well, if I don't get 8 hours on Ambien, I tend to feel kind of fuzzy-headed the next day, in a general sleep-dep kind of way.

Are you still doing Ray?

No -- it seems like, when the initial seasonal depression creeps in sometime in October, if I use Ray for about a month, it seems to....fill up my tank, or something, because then I tend to be fine for the rest of the winter (touch wood).

The cold symptoms have not left, but they also haven't gotten worse

Oh, I call that a small victory, definitely. I'm hoping next is a unilateral pullout.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Gronk. Heya. I find it ironic that on one of the High Holy Days for eating - I forgot to eat. Much. Maybe next year. I got the drinking all the way down, though. One of my friends got me a bottle of Pommery. Bless.

Yay for CV & Ross!
