Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Are you all done now?

For today. Tomorrow I write answers to two take-home quizzes that I never did. Then I'm done! Done! DONE! Well, until I do the Independent Study...

The train set I got for Leif was a $20 set that Target had. I checked and the width of the wheels seemed to match other wooden train sets. So you might be able to scrabble together a more extensive train set with a couple of the Target kits and a couple of train engine/cars from another type.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Oh, cool Gud, thanks. I don't think he really needs extensive. He just needs a train. He loves trains and fire trucks and he's already got three different fire trucks.

Oh, I was just teasing you.

Cool. I thought everything was tongue in cheek, but I thought I would cover my bases.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Deena, poop to KB Toys. Bastards. Good luck finding Aidan something else.

WHOOOT! All children should say "camel" and often.

I swear, he's had a verbal leap in the last week. He's just all about difficult animal names. Won't say "Mamma" but he'll spout "giraffe", "zebra" and "octopus" all day long.

I just tried to talk my daughter into typing in a message about camels, but she won't do it. We are all hanging out in the basement for a little bit while my wife is napping. Alas, bath time is almost here and the noise will need to move upstairs.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Em said "elephant" a couple of weeks ago. Hasn't said it since, but she did the once. She's also saying "dance". We find she will repeat us if she has a context.

The Target set looks like a decent little set, but the train that comes with it is really wimpy. I figured we'd replace the engine and cars with better ones after the wimpy ones get lost.

Gotta go, Leif grabbed something and Emaryn yelled "Run!" and they took off upstairs. This can't be good.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There's a great Brio train that actually runs on batteries and has a light and toots and hauls trains when you're ready to move up. Also, all the Thomas the Tank Engine trains are fun for kids. Emmett has a bunch still.

The Brio and Thomas sets are compatible, btw.
