Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm getting the pig!

I'm right there with you, Jilli. "Defying Gravity" gave me chills the first time I listened to it and every third time or so, it still does. Favoritest song ever.

The line in "Thank Goodness" that hits me is "Happy is what happens when all your dreams come true. Well, isn't it?" Ooof.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Wicked sold out in SF before I had a chance to get tix. I could have seen it when I was in NYC, but my buddies bullied me into a couple of other musicals instead. Me, bitter (typed butter first), nawwww.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

It's (finally!) playing in Seattle in September. When I explained to Pete that I was planning on seeing it at least twice, he looked at me and said "I kind of expected that."

The big coffee-table book about the musical has a whole section on how they do Elphaba's makeup, and what products they use. Products that I can get through friends. Why yes, I am returning to my childhood roots for Halloween 2006, and dressing up as the Wicked Witch of the West. My best friend, because she is very indulgent, has agreed to dress as Galinda. (I suspect part of the reason she agreed is because that way she can con her husband into being a flying monkey.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

If we hadn't been out of town for ND and Kristin's Halloween party this year, Kristin and I would have gone as Galinda and Elphaba as they get to school.

"Wicked" coffee table book?????

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I love how a book spawned a movie that inspired a book that turned into a musical, with attendant CDs and coffee table books. llama. Maybe they'll make a movie about the musical soon.
