Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And yet, it won't STOP!
It takes a day or two for me usually if I have been on a multi-day cruise. Or anything more than a day, really. But it will go away.

Except for the drunking-looking walk, it's not bad for me. And actually soothing when I lie down cause of the gentle rocking.

Oh! Going whale watching on a big sailboat on Monday. Not enough to get the land moving but still - whales!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Anybody know anything about "Let's Dish"? There's one by school, and I'm thinking of applying for a job.

Cass, are you actually inhaling the steam from said hot mugs?

Let's point at the sloshy people who are sloshy for having too much fun!

I've never really experienced landsick or seasick. There were times in sailing when things just felt wrong, but then, something usually was, so I don't think that was seasickness.

Cass, hot bath?

It's really, and I mean REALLY windy right now. Trees are popping loudly and my power is flickering a little. But I've finished my manicure, so at least I am not worried about trying to do THAT by candlelight.... I think it is making Devi nervous. She's sticking really close, when normally she's crashed out somewhere at this hour.

Good ideas. Both.

I shall go vacuum and then stand in a hot shower. If that helps, I will let the water reheat and then take a hot bath too. I miss breathing.

Though having little Kleenex packets from having bought them for DebetEsse? Goooooood thing.

Besides, the football is going away to tape something called Rebus with John Hannah on BBCA.

Our wings are not tired.

Too crazed to be much help with the thread termination.

Quick weather report. Cold Front! It's in the upper 50's now with promises of low 40's by morning! Very windy. 20-25 mph they say, but it was strong enough to make the soccer game earlier a challenge. They couldn't keep the ball from rolling without the ref holding it with his foot. It felt a whole lot stronger than the weather guy says.

Busy busy and the kids are asking about dinner, again. Geez, it's only 9pm, and it's a weekend. Not like they haven't been snacking all day.

B.Jr. had his 1st basketball game of this season. He just entered the 13-15 age group this year. He did well enough, but they lost.

Damn, I should have broke that up into several posts. I'll see if posting later is an option.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ABC's coverage of the U.S. National Figure Skating Championships sucks eggs. Seriously. They give fans of the sport absolutely no respect.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I remember those Kleenex. Those Kleenex were wonderful (I was is Joshua Tree. My sinuses hated me).

It got cold here, too. It's barely been jacket weather all week. Now, nsm.

What is even happening?

It's been in the 50s here, but it is supposed to go down to the teens either tomorrow or Monday. I have tried to ignore all of it, but my family keeps telling me.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

sarameg, I don't get seasick so much as I notice the motion in a boat. I get sick on small diveboats that smell like diesel though.

On our diveboat out of New Providence, I didn't get sick at all. Granted we went only 1/4 of a mile out.

Twas fun!

Well, that was exciting. Top of a pine just came down. Top third.

Kat, sounds like it. I notice the motion, but it is just fun. I love trains and having to stand on the subways for that reason. Safe surfing, or something.
