And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, you're making me incredibly silly. I think I may be punch drunk.
I am blaming my nothe. sniff

So, Tom Taylor, of the April 1 birthday, from Buffalo. That's more of a memory then I feel he was really worth. Did something security-ish for Citibank. My brain is wasting valuable memory space on this. I need to reformat.

I'm vaguely woobly due to residual shipness.
I get the "land-sick" too. Not actually sick, just waiting for the earth to stop sloshing about.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sumi, I'm guessing the post-game stuff may run longer in Chicago than nationally.

And yet, it won't STOP!

Also, it was not aided by a drive to West Fucking Covina to go to a CRAP Marukai. Gr. Should have just gone to the one we know and like in Gardena, which, all said and done, must be closer.

GR.

I have taken Benedryl and Alka Seltzer Cold (cause I figure I have no cold but it really just treats the symptoms and not actually the cold, and I have the symptoms) and tried cold masks and putting hot mugs against my sinuses. What else can I do? It's some damn allergic reaction. This is just stupid but it's making me miserable.

I need to vacuum tonight and, right about now, I don't see how it could make me feel worse.

Art Crawl!!!

Ah, okay -- that makes sense.

(Did I miss the Cav?)

It takes a day or two for me usually if I have been on a multi-day cruise. Or anything more than a day, really. But it will go away.

Except for the drunking-looking walk, it's not bad for me. And actually soothing when I lie down cause of the gentle rocking.

Oh! Going whale watching on a big sailboat on Monday. Not enough to get the land moving but still - whales!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Anybody know anything about "Let's Dish"? There's one by school, and I'm thinking of applying for a job.

Cass, are you actually inhaling the steam from said hot mugs?

sarameg - Jan 14, 2006 3:55:39 pm PST #9940 of 10002

Let's point at the sloshy people who are sloshy for having too much fun!

I've never really experienced landsick or seasick. There were times in sailing when things just felt wrong, but then, something usually was, so I don't think that was seasickness.

Cass, hot bath?

It's really, and I mean REALLY windy right now. Trees are popping loudly and my power is flickering a little. But I've finished my manicure, so at least I am not worried about trying to do THAT by candlelight.... I think it is making Devi nervous. She's sticking really close, when normally she's crashed out somewhere at this hour.

Good ideas. Both.

I shall go vacuum and then stand in a hot shower. If that helps, I will let the water reheat and then take a hot bath too. I miss breathing.

Though having little Kleenex packets from having bought them for DebetEsse? Goooooood thing.

Besides, the football is going away to tape something called Rebus with John Hannah on BBCA.
