That takes away the sensation--does it take away mobility? I'm thinking they can't do that to me, although they won't allow me to drive myself home.
This is what they did to me: [link]
It didn't take away any of my mobility, but I don't know how close it is to what you're having done.
Um.... there's also explicit Lego incest.
::goes back to put in NWS warning::
Being a complete newbie to podcasts, I'm having a little bit of trouble. If I want to get a podcast not through iTunes, how do I convince iTunes it's a podcast, and not just a random audio file? Specifically, here's the stuff -- [link] I tried to subscribe and put in the URL, but iTunes said it wasn't a valid podcast URL. I really have no idea what I'm doing (no big surprise there).
ETA: Or I could just go ahead and find it in iTunes's list. All fixed now.
I think a podcast link has to end in .xml.
I'm loving billytea's walking Mutual of Omaha show. Man, what a font of knowledge you are, billytea.
Today's Chicago Tribune has a great behind-the-scenes look at Nordstrom's shoe department for all those Buffista shoe sluts out there. The Michigan Ave. store has 75,000 pairs of shoes on two floors, and did $1 million in business last month (yes, that's "month," not "year")!
I just had too much lunch. Teriyaki beef, shrimp tempura, marinated mussels, rice, miso soup. Yummy. But too much.
Several times today I've been asked, "Where's [my former coworker]?" His chair's been empty for weeks. I guess they thought he was just on vacation. They all looked baffled when I say, "Uh, he quit?"
It really makes me want know what'll happen here on the day after my last day, man.

Oh, you'll have to leave a blowup doll in your chair. Or a pile of ashes. Or a sign saying "The mothership finally came."
