All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It was rather soapy, IMO. Desperate Housewives, now with added Jesus!

The comparison is apt enough, but Desperate Housewives never really grabbed me the way BoD seems to have the potential to. I certainly don't see why BoD should be any more controversial than DH.

I woke up to one kitty snuggling my feet and another one stalking my hands.

Art Crawl!!!

BoD has Aiden Quinn -- that gets my vote.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

In news of me, can I get some stop-being-so-fucking-stupid-ma directed at my dad? Broke his ankle yesterday. Fishing. In the winter. Fortunately, he slipped on the pavement before he even got to the standing in the river in the midde of fucking winter part, or god knows what could have happened.

Also, how the hell do you manage collars that don't drive you whacko with the jingling? Devi'd never tolerate one and MK used his to annoy the hell out of me, so now both are without collars. I should chip them.

Is it the tags jangling together that bothers you? Take a little piece of duct tape and tape them together. No more jangling, but the info is still there in case it's ever needed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, did we all know that US postage is going up tomorrow? 39 cents for a letter now.

Ooouch. I'm thinking the break probably gave him as much of that ~ma as any of us can absorb at one time. I'ma send hopes for good and quick healing (and retention of lesson~ma), and some peace of mind for you, instead.

Scott and I forgot it was on, and put on our s1 Lost DVDs. My (v. Christian) mother watched it in the other room. She came in about 15 minutes past the hour and said it was good. I was under the impression that it was a half hour show, and so half over, so I didn't switch (we were catching up on Lost). If I'd realized it was an hour long show, and that they were showing two hours, I would have given it a go. She said she thought it was no more [insert some sort of synonym for shocking, controversial, heretical, or whatever here] than Joan of Arcadia was, and can't understand the uproar over it.

It's still a pretty good deal, imo. I think there was a comedian who did a bit to that effect, a long time ago, but I'm blanking on the who and the how.

Our wings are not tired.

Lovely Babies!

I had missed that somehow Jesse. Yesterday I went to the Post Office and bought 2 sheets of stamps and never looked at them. I just pulled them out to check. The clerk asked me if I wanted Blue Birds or Flags and I said one of each. Both types just say First Class and no amount. Never noticed the price change. Duh.

Ouch Brenda! Ankle breaks can be very nasty. Did they put him in a cast, or put pins in? Ouch.

They gave him a temporary cast, and are putting a real one on on Monday. So I'm guessing it can't be too bad, right. Also the dumbass walked around on it all day and didn't decide to go to the hospital until late last night. He also hit his head pretty hard, so I'm hoping there's no lasting concern there. We'll know more when my sister gets home.

retention of lesson~ma

BWAH HAA HAA HAAA HAA!snortBWAHH HAHAHAHAA! Good one!

Um, yeah, not so likely. But I'll gladly take the rest of it.

Parents. Can live with 'em. Can't shoot 'em, unless you've got an airtight alibi, and even then I'd preemptively lawyer up.

My f-i-l broke his ankle last year. It was a tub slip sort of accident, but he waited forever and a day to get it checked, and once the break was discovered, was nothing but bullheaded about keeping his appointments, and even then, he mostly didn't, unless there was a new crisis (like sudden swelling, italicious bruising out of nowhere, etc.). My sympathies.

I hope the rest of the news is good.

Ack, Brenda. Your poor dumbass dad. I mean that in the nicest way, of course.

Oh, totally.
