"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Sorry, Sue.

Hey, is there any particular meaning to getting a "With" in TV credits? Like when the opening credits for Buffy ended with "With Alyson Hannigan"?

I'm really starting to miss carbohydrates. Chips... salt and vinegar chips... mmmm...

Art Crawl!!!

BSG was excellent tonight.

Hmmm, I would so totally get something silk to throw over my bed if only my town sold any such thing (which it doesn't). At least not in the fabric stores.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm awash in dog and cat hair. It's irritating.

This is so me. *sigh*

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"With...as..." means that actor gets more money than his/her costars.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Has anyone seen Cash Cab?

I would totally kick ass at Cash Cab. It makes me want to go to New York and hail cabs until I find it.

Dana, I thought it was a UK thing? I'm utterly charmed by the IDEA of it. I've never seen the show itself.

I'd heard that rumored, but I'd never gotten confirmation. Wow, Stargate's got two "with"s.

It's on...the Discovery Channel, or something, right around the time I get home from work.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My understanding "with" "and" "also" -- don't always mean more money, but they are worth something -- they may indicate someone's very special and being paid a lot, or they might mean they have an agent who's only managed to make their client look important, but never managed the moolah. I think that's what Colin said.
