Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There was no ginger ale! But I do have a brownie and ginger peach tea. I'll make do.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'll probably be switching to Time Warner's digital phone this month, if they can schedule the appointment. It'll save me $25/month, plus get me DTV.

We've got that. It's handy. But SBC called me with the exact same deal in regards to price and service, so I may be switching back to SBC. Then my phone won't go off if the power or cable goes out.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You bought another car?

Good lord, Daisy Jane. I just figured out who you are. Consider me slow.

I got that one right away, but am I the only one who was taken aback by "Mr. Jane" or "Mr. J"? I was all "wait, I thought his name was...oh, right."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Then my phone won't go off if the power or cable goes out.

That's a worry I have, but in a year of service, my cable's only ever gone out once, and TWC's customer service kicks Verizon's ass.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

The new fresca is non-caloric and uncaffeinated. Me, I find the taste too light to cover the faint (splenda?) aftertaste, but if you can deal with that, it's a nice compromise. I mean, I like ginger ale, but-- too many empty calories.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

You bought another car?

Yes. I sold my Focus a while back, and I'm probably gonna sell the '73 Mercury. I bought an '85 LTD (the mid-size one, like a Fairmont) that has the rare high output Mustang V-8.

I drink soda water with bitters in it - tastes kind of like unsweetened ginger ale. So tasty, and refreshing like whoa.

Art Crawl!!!

I have a paypal question -- once paypal has informed you that a payment has been made to your account - how long before it shows up in your bank?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Well, it's good to hear they're working on it, tommyrot. Still boggled that they managed to not only overcharge you, but then lose it, but at least they're trying to fix it.

Gah. I have to leave to catch my Amtrak. They're gonna keep looking, and I'll call back later.

Now I just need good luck that my train won't be late and that the 21 year old car will make it back OK.
