Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're both lame.

I want to go car shopping now.

Maybe I could take Colin. Except, if I were doing it for real, I'd totally take Colin. I helped him with his last two car purchases, but I'm more google-girl and help-weigh-the-options girl. I can never remember anything about cars except to try and make all the numbers higher than on my current car, except for the price. And maybe some other numbers. I forget.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's how I buy computers. OK, I've only ever bought two computers, but still.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

All I wanted to do when I looked for cars was test drive them. It only matters to me what it feels like driving, what it feels like sitting and how the interior is designed/laid out.

totally NOT lame, totally, right on. going out is over-rated.

Sad thing is, I can totally understand cars, but never for more than an hour or so. Each time I retain...maybe one more word. I'm up to, what, twenty five words of recent car knowledge? I feel I'm letting down my emancipation (uh, as a woman, not as a non-slave).

In fact, I tend to want to talk computers just for pointless cred.

It's not a geek thing. It's an "I am not a typical woman!" thing.

Not that that's more defensible--just that I want the record set straight.

Never said it wasn't that.

These days I might also talk krav. Capoeira was never right for that purpose.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So I've decided 2006 is the year in which, well, something changes. Not sure what. But step 1 is to do my resume.

I understand these things go in cycles: what's the current fashion for resumes? Is there a website with good examples?
