Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Thanks for the advice-- I do read "dress-a-day", which is what made me think of it! I can get digital pictures and scans pretty easily. Also, the listings I looked at all seemed to be from people who didn't really know much about sewing or vintage clothes. Which seems weird to me.

My new favorite store at cafepress...click on your name: [link]

They do not have my real name! It is like 5th grade and rainbow pins all over again!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I thought you made a good point earlier, about it helping you learn to interact with strangers. (That was you Jesse, right?)

Yes, yes it was. It's happened to me over and over again, because I've done some kind of online dating/personal ad/whatever thing every few years. The first couple of dates SUCK, but then they're fine.

Jesse knows my grouchy ways.

OH! poor Sophia. I am sorry. I did not mean to cause name trauma.

ION, WHEN DO I GET A NEW GA?!?! I AM GOING INTO WITHDRAWL.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The Prayer Garden store freaks me out.

What is even happening?

Me too, Jess.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I do like the online dating because you are meeting total strangers-- no awkwardness around knowing the same people or seeing each other around

Ha! The second meetup I had was with a krav student. Sure, you can avoid people you might see around, but for the paranoia (rightly) became finding people you see around.

As for one way being better than the other -- does it matter? The better way is the one that works. Penny B found her husband during her match.com trial period. I can hardly call that better (or worse) than anyone's meatspace hookup success.

Click on my name? I'll believe it when I see it.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Sophia, I know your pain. My name isn't there either, although its abbreviation is, which SO DOESN'T COUNT. It sucks. Nobody can pray for us on a trucker hat, and we'll never have personalized bicycle license plates or pencils!

Also, if you have a moment, could you possibly send your mailing address to my profile address? I promise not to send you anything moist or explodey.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

My plan for New Years Day is making fruitcake. I'm using a fifty-year-old recipe. First question: what the hell is nutmeat and if it's not on FreshDirect does that mean I can't get it at like a Whole Foods?

Who's saying one is better? I think some people like one or the other better, but, you know -- different people and all that.

People here are ordering lunch. I was like, but aren't we leaving at like 12:30 like you said????
