My plan for New Years Day is making fruitcake. I'm using a fifty-year-old recipe. First question: what the hell is nutmeat and if it's not on FreshDirect does that mean I can't get it at like a Whole Foods?

I'd go with the full first name if I were making the items, because it seems to me nicks vary in spelling even more than full given names.

Nutmeat = nuts. (Technically, the edible part of a nut, but modern recipes generally assume you know that and just call for "nuts.")
