Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

I have no plans to lick your face Jesse, not in the immediate future anyway. I may need to bite your nose though. stay tuned.

I was late to work, I was therefore late to my 9 am call. Feh.

I did, however, remember to bring in my breakfast and some lunch AND I listened to a bunch on my NPR podcasts on the way in, so I kinda got stuff done.

No word on if we have a short day today.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Mac snapped at my friend's little boy a few weeks ago. No biting--he stepped on her leg and she pulled back and snapped her jaws at him as a warning. But I nearly went off my head. Grabbed her by the scruff and took her down to the floor until she went limp.

I adore my dogs and I never leave Owen alone with them for a second but I still fear what I'd do if they ever bit him--it's why I have an elaborate maze of baby gates to keep them separate if I need to.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I can't believe the dog bit her in the nose! My friends son (who is 8) recently had that happen (completely unprovoked-- he was not even playing with the dog!) and it was her sister's dog. It was put to sleep, but certainly a hard situation.

As long as msbelle is here (as I think she is most likely to know)- Does anyone know anything about selling vintage sewing patterns or vintage clothing? I am looking to declutter and have at least 50 - 60 patterns from the 1940's - 60's and another 40 -50 from the 70's and 80's. I also have some very nice vintage clothing.

I don't really care if I make much money off the patterns, as most of them cost less than 25 cents, but some of the clothing is really nice. I am thinking e-bay, but since I have never sold there, I am a bit wary, since everything seems to be about ratings and I really have none (as all I have done is buy, like, 2 things)

Any advice?

I think e-bay would be your best bet. Do you look at Dress a day? [link] People seem to get good money for their vintage patterns.

Or maybe you could try selling direct to Erinaceous.;)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sophia, I would ask erinaceous, and/or check out her dress-a-day blog [link] to see how other people sell vintage patterns.

Nice crosspost, Sue!

Sophia, I will also say that I've sold one or two things on eBay and bought a few, and it works out fine, even if you don't have enormous numbers of ratings.

ebay is probably your best bet. Because of your inexperience on ebay, maybe you would want to include a note about how you are new to ebay, and maybe offer a return policy as a result. Listing items is really easy as long as you have digital pictures.

I had my face bitten by an Alaskan Husky when I was a wee boo. I never blamed the dog, because I was just in the wrong place at the right time, but I'm still wary of most big dogs.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Other than my own dogs I've only ever been bitten once, by a farm dog when my friend's grandfather had a dizzy spell and I was the only unfamiliar person holding him up. But I have resolved that if yappy formerly feral beagle at my apartment complex gets braver and bites me rather than just snapping, it'll be her final act on this earth.
