Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

He needs it for a text he's translating. I'm his proofreader, his "please ask your English-speaking clever educated friends" go-to person, and his "oh, when is the next chapter going to be ready?" local nagger (is "nagger" a word?).
He's translating It Must Be Beautiful: Great Equations of Modern Science.

what is the site with the deadly cute animals? And is that where the cute frog hat wearing kitten is?
Hey, shrift. You're an FMA junkie, right?
Yes, I am!
Are the DVDs set up funny?
I don't think so -- FMA does a lot of narrative time-jumping, and I'm pretty sure that's how the episodes aired. (Edit: I'll have to check my fan-subtitled Japanese eps at home to be sure.) In the first couple of episodes, Ed and Al are in the desert, and it's basically present day. And then they jump back in time to show how Ed and Al lost their mother and various body parts, traveled to Central City, and how Ed became an alchemist. After that, it sort of eases back into present day again. Eventually the show fills in all the time gaps.
Did that make sense? I hope it made sense. I'll be over here making out with Roy Mustang.

Operation Egg Roll is a success.
nevermind, I got it. Cute Overload.
YAY! egg roll!
Thanks shrift. I missed where they cued that jump back. I'm crushing on the guy who's just had the baby, but only when he's all business.
Timelies all!
Yay! Our new furniture is here! Guess we'll be spending part of this weekend rearranging and putting away stuff..

I don't know from dating more than one person at a time. My impression is that usually you just drift away after a couple dates if it's not going anywhere, though.
