Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Would it be better or worse if it were Smoov jazz?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Has anyone here ever played Second Life?

I meant to check it out, but fogot. Thanks for reminding me.

Looks like my Mac Mini will require a RAM upgrade (or my Cube a CPU upgrade).

You know, it's entirely possible that I will expire from boredom today.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Would it be better or worse if it were Smoov jazz?

So much better. Except, huh -- apparently the Lite station was dabbling in the Kenny G, because now it's Earth Wind and Fire -- much better -- and the assistant is out here doing stuff in the files.

information libertarian

Important Information For You All: The night of Dec. 23, I dreamed I was having sex with Mick Jagger, except he looked like Orlando Bloom. I woke up greatly relieved by the latter fact.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I’m bored as well, but I *don’t* want my ticket load to go up. I’m in a weird space. If I were more motivated, this would be the perfect time to organize my desk, organize the CD archive I have here, etc. But I’m not motivated. I so much resent not having a Christmas vacation like I did when I was in school that it’s almost like I’m on a sitdown strike.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This is the most polite severe weather alert I've ever seen:

A MOISTURE LADEN AIRMASS LYING ACROSS THE TRI-STATE REGION IS PRODUCING A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF FOG. THIS FOG IS OR SHORTLY WILL BECOME QUITE DENSE.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm not motivated to do anything resembling work. I was thinking idly about maybe starting a little project just to keep myself on the edge of sanity, but then I looked at the server. Now I get to destroy things from the comfort of my office chair.
