And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've just installed 2 versions of Sudoku on my Clie. I am now fully ready for tomorrow's commute. (Which will be my first post-strike subway commute! Woot!)

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

All packed nice and neat in my phone, Strega.

Allyson, clean place is thing #1. The rest? If you don't have it, you can get it or do without. Believe me. I did Hell Holiday Duty and came home with enough time to sleep 4 hours and didn't get to unpack (I HATE BEING PACKED) until the next day. But! Things were relatively clean at home, so all I had to do was unpack my makeup and hair crap and crawl into bed. With a scotch. Did I mention my Hell Holiday would have been so much better with liberal applications of alcohol.

If I'm stupid enough to do it again, I'm packing a flask.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Caught up! whew!

thanks again for all the b-day wishes. My sister, sister-in-law and my best friend spent the day mostly eating, at least it felt like that. There was some driving, museum walking and a movie in between, but the rest of the time was eating. best birthday in years!

Sis and SiL drive back up to Iowa tommorrow. Then I have a lunch with best friend and 2 others we only see rarely.

then New years eve, and I think I'll need a vacation to rest up from all the celebrating. It's wearing me out!

All you people who didn't know that Jamie Bamber is British obviously didn't watch the Horatio Hornblower series.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh. I didn't know I should have mentioned Bamber's lovely accent -- yeah, he really does sound like pre-angst Wesley. I also loved Not Six!Tricia Helfer.

Incidentally, there's an interview with Olmos and McDonnell in the newest TV Guide that's adorable also.
