Oh I just had a lovely long conversation with one of the bffs. It is so calming and happy making to speak with those we love. Despite not seeing each other for 2 months we fall right back into step and effortlessly ramble on about topics here and there.
Oh and house clean-up is going very well. The spare room actually looks a little homey and inviting. Now to vaccuum and then test out the new yarn swift and baller.

I came home to find my ex-landlord has put a For Rent sign out across the street. He said he wanted out of the landlord biz. And kinda pressured me to give notice, which is why I moved. Otherwise I'd still be living there. I guess a year and a half of shouldering the mortgage payment with no renters changed his mind. Anyway, I've swung into gear getting the word out to friends in the hope I can get some cool neighbors. Too bad juliana already has her joint hooked up.
This is an early Victorian (no gingerbread on the outside, but hardwood floors and ceiling medallions inside) 2 bedroom (with 2 other rooms that could be made to serve as bedrooms) one-story with a big yard and off-street parking about 7 blocks from Ashby BART. Great for entertaining.
