These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think I have like a primal shudder reaction to the spinal-fluid thing. Like, it Just Should Not Be.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Yep. I feel the same way. It's Just Wrong.

BTW, thanks for the panda link Tai Shan walking is just so cute I almost can't stand it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had the spinal fluid leak thing when I fractured my skull. It is less than fun.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You guys! Keep your bodily fluids where they belong, please!!!! Also, I suggest less fracturing of skulls.

Sheesh, people.

I think we need to start handing out those padded helmets.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

This story is secondhand: One time (my) Bob was talking to someone who had worked at a fast food outlet. He told Bob that he would never eat there again because [w/f for gross] every body fluid you can imagine was at one time deposited into someone's food. And Bob immediately responded, "Even spinal fluid?!?" The storyteller had to admit he hadn't thought of that one.

Oh greaaaat. Just got an email from the brother thanking me for my presence as it prevented him from spilling blood.

I get it now. I'm the family stress toy!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hopefully, they didn't include any lymph or bile either. Or perhaps not hopefully, as if someone is going to secretly contaminate my food with their bodily fluids I guess I'd prefer they get peritonitis for their trouble .

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

::not looking at spinal fluid links::

Boss covered phones for me during lunch today. So instead of handling something or taking the email address so I can handle it in email, I'm now required to call this customer back. From the description, the customer sounds like the type that's going to stretch into a 20 min. call of why the software asking for a serial number has nothing to do with the product they purchased from us and would they please call Adobe?

Very happy because I managed to snag an extra ticket to a sold out once-a-year only gig. My friend hadn't gotten his in time and I'm too broke to buy tix for people unless I'm SURE they can make it. So I hadn't gotten him a ticket at the same time I bought mine. But I got a dispensation today. The volunteer work I did for that venue has had the best payoff of any volunteer work I've ever done! Woot!
