Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm not sure where to store/what to do with the veil. Any ideas?
Loosely wrap in tissue paper and box it. Unless you aren't looking for storage ideas. In which case I suggest hanging it on an oval shaped mirror. On which you can draw a face with makeup or dry erase markers.

That would be awesome. But I have no mirrors in this room. I sort of just folded it up and put it in the box with the other random hats and headwear. I could keep wearing it, but it feels weird.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have been dusting and polishing wood surfaces, and have way too late discovered I can't handle the smell of the Pledge I used. So I'm going to throw it away, and some wood will just have to live without the lustre. In the meanwhile, all windows are open and the fan is running full bore.

Still, shiny and increased tidiness. Found stuff too. Disturbing stuff like blue eyeshadow, and cool stuff like my Russian pocketwatch.

I watched disc 2 of Full Metal Alchemist. Are the episodes out of order on the discs? Or the discs themselves out of order?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The whole damn court is out of order!

(sorry)

Reuters pictures of the year. Not as bleak as the Time Magazine pictures, but be warned, this is 2005 we're talking about. There is disturbing content, both visually and by implication.

Yep. Some disturbing pictures, though I love the eclipse on the tongue and of course, for me personally, the giraffe picture rocks because I'm having a Year of the Giraffe.

The courtney love pic is truly frightening.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I clicked your link as promised ita, but I am now depressed. except for the 2 pics Kat pointed out.

I feel like a very bad pet owner compared to Allyson and Polgara and Kristen. On Friday, I thought I was putting out enough food for my cats to make it through to tonight, in case Deb couldn't make it over, and by the time she got there Saturay night it was completely gone.

I get to leave for the airport in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Not that I'm counting or anything.

The mud runner depressed you? The Japanese royal family in the storm? The little kid plugging her ears while Tony Blair spoke?

You're a tough crowd.

Okay, I stand corrected. That one made me giggle.

Damn. I *have* to go to Trader Joe's today for more cat food. If I could go in my fluffy green robe by teleporter and be invisible, I wouldn't be trying to decide how much I really love my cats. Maybe I can put it off until tomorrow and they can clean up the kibble crumbs off of the floor for me.
