Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Reuters pictures of the year. Not as bleak as the Time Magazine pictures, but be warned, this is 2005 we're talking about. There is disturbing content, both visually and by implication.

Yep. Some disturbing pictures, though I love the eclipse on the tongue and of course, for me personally, the giraffe picture rocks because I'm having a Year of the Giraffe.

The courtney love pic is truly frightening.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I clicked your link as promised ita, but I am now depressed. except for the 2 pics Kat pointed out.

I feel like a very bad pet owner compared to Allyson and Polgara and Kristen. On Friday, I thought I was putting out enough food for my cats to make it through to tonight, in case Deb couldn't make it over, and by the time she got there Saturay night it was completely gone.

I get to leave for the airport in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Not that I'm counting or anything.

The mud runner depressed you? The Japanese royal family in the storm? The little kid plugging her ears while Tony Blair spoke?

You're a tough crowd.

Okay, I stand corrected. That one made me giggle.

Damn. I *have* to go to Trader Joe's today for more cat food. If I could go in my fluffy green robe by teleporter and be invisible, I wouldn't be trying to decide how much I really love my cats. Maybe I can put it off until tomorrow and they can clean up the kibble crumbs off of the floor for me.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

It's almost two and I got five hours sleep last night--it's not too early to take a bath and get into my pajamas, just to slounge around the house, is it? I mean, I have been up almost eight hours.

Oh. Well then I am a better pet owner than Kristen then at least. I am going for the small miracles today.

Do we think that grocery stores will be busy today? I am loathe to deal with teh public.

Robin, take a bath, put on jammies and slounge to your heart's content. I decree it.

Oops. I meant pet sitter, or something.

Look, over there-- something shiny!
