Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm watching the Yule Log on Channel 11 right now!

We had the Yule Log Channel on all night last night! And part of this morning, too.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The loaner cat is named Star, but I'm referring to her as Asterisk for now. :-)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

HAPPY KPRINKLE!!!

Merry Christmas!

Happy Channukah!

and last but not least Merry Channumas and Happy Christmukah.

Church two days in a row is not so normal. We did presents last night as well as big turkey dinner. Today has been snacking and sitting and knitting and getting my parents' computer set up to deal with 2 iPods. Now more family is over to visit and we are being silly. Tomorrow I learn to use my new serger and then go SHOPPING!

Went to the new-and-improved eerily-empty Century City mall.

Because some of the big convention hotels are nearby, I occasionall find myself sitting at the outdoor tables at this mall, drinking coffee, reading, and avoiding academics. Over the years, the place has become kind of a touchstone for me. I sit there drinking coffee and thinking 'Huh, here I am again,' kind of the way that I do with certain neighborhoods in New York or public squares in Europe. I feel kind of foolish about it--I mean, it's a stupid mall, not the Piazza Navona for heaven's sake, but you can't control which places become meaningful to you over time. I was happy that they decided to spruce it up last year.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

We had the Yule log on this morning. It was surprisingly pleasant.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I talked to my folks and my sister in japan- I forgot to tell about my new t-shirt that says " radical militant librarian at your service" how I wishI could wear it to work.

I don't think I can be entertaining. Unless folding laundry is entertaining.

Our wings are not tired

I watched a little Yule log last night. Now I'm watching a history channel special on Cereal.
