t first world problem
Urgh. I have an 8:50 flight tomorrow night, and I was going to leave straight from work at 6:00, which was cutting it a little close, but not too much, but they are letting us go at 3:00, which means if I go home it's an extra hour plus of driving for half an hour or45 minutes at home, or finding a way to kill almost 2 and a half extra hours at the San Jose airport.
Perkins, work until 4 and then go to the airport. Get yourself some fun magazines, find a chair, relax.
That's probably what I'll do. I hear I can entertain myself on the internets too, so that should help.
Dear Drama Queen Office Guy,
STOP IT!
Thanks, Me
Office Guy, leave msbelle alone please. She should be on her way home now. Thank you.
I have to wrap gifts. I usually enjoy it but am extra resistant this year.
Office guy left - he makes everything he does a HUGE BIG DEAL and when it goes on for too long and I overhear him I step in and find out what is needed and it is NEVER as complicated as he is making it. Today I told him exactly what needed to be done and stated that it was very simple, took 5 minutes and I did not understand his issue. I think he is miffed. I do not care.
I am not leaving until 7 in the hopes of avoiding long train lines.
find a chair
Find a stool.
I can only assume that the Waiting for Guffman earworm was intentional...
Made it home by 6:30 today! And not working tomorrow, so if the trains aren't back in service by morning rush, I don't care! Woo!
Sorry -- somehow posted in the wrong topic.
"Post" button, you have failed me for the last time!
Perkins - you should probably plan to get to SJC early. JetBlue's website lists recommended preflight arrival times for all of their various airports, and they list 2 hours for SJC. Worse than all their other destinations besides Santiago and the Bahamas! [link]
My travels this week were surprisingly easy-peasy, considering the strike. Go jetblue, and yay LIRR/Airtrain. Also yay leaving Penn Station just before the queues got way crazy. I got from there to past security at JFK in less than an hour. For $9.
