Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I gave in and took a cab to work today. I had to share a ride with a couple of tourists who wanted to, you know, talk to me and stuff.

ION, the Santa hat came out today. HO HO HO.

So is mine! (Good thing is that I don't have to worry about bad hair days when I wear my Santa hat.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Honestly, it's like Iraq -- people support the troops who are caught in the bullshit without supporting the leadership.

I've been thinking of this exact parallel all week.

Actual Workers = more fucked over than I (the rider) am by this strike, and have my complete sympathy

Toussaint = incompetent asshat egoist fuckhead

But hey, NY1 just said they were meeting again, so possible yay!

I had to share a ride with a couple of tourists who wanted to, you know, talk to me and stuff.

Oh Tom, I'm so sorry. I'm still riding with the co-workers, but this morning the driver won't be my boss. I predict much more in-car swearing.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Well today the commute was an hour and a half. We opted for the train instead of the water taxi and we missed the first one b/c it was too crowded. There seems to be a lot more cars in the city today.

I have a meeting at 10, am not ready for it and don't seem to care.

Resolution to Transit Strike May Be Imminent

A resolution to New York City's transit strike is imminent and is likely to be announced as soon as this morning, a person close to the talks said today.

The person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the information, said subways and buses could be running as early as today's evening rush.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the information, said subways and buses could be running as early as today's evening rush.

That seems incredibly optimistic.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just hope they're back when I come back to town on Monday. Ugh.
