For those of you who were wondering, I did not get pasta for dinner last night, but tonight I am making spaghetti carbonara. With peas, I think, because almost everything is better with peas, if you're me.

My Favorite Ute Lemper album is "Ute Lemper Sings Kurt Weill". I don't by any means own everything she's done, but that's the one that broke her in the States and I think there's a reason why. She's great on it AND the Sinfonietta is perfect.
It's not particularly Dietrich-like, but it's definitely Weimar-era.
