Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

information libertarian

I think it's Holli's birthday, actually. She's 20 (boggle).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hope you enjoy, Kat.

If you get a chance, can you tell me how that prints, at least a page or two? It seemed fine (if unspectacular) here, but Jon is making me nervous and I need a beta.

At least before I get too far with all the others.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There were several of them, actually-- old cowboy boots that had been made into purses.

Gee, thanks anyway, but...

With peas, I think, because almost everything is better with peas, if you're me.

I am so with you!

Sometimes honesty is not the best policy. I was much more sympathetic to the lateness of my food when I was imagining strike-related reasons, than when the driver told me she locked her keys in her car.

Sure, I'll print now, on the school's color laserjet even.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Suggestions?

Well, All That Jazz: Best of Ute Lemper is by far my favorite, but if he likes Kurt Weill and/or Elvis Costello and/or Tom Waits, he might like tracks off of Punishing Kiss.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

My Favorite Ute Lemper album is "Ute Lemper Sings Kurt Weill". I don't by any means own everything she's done, but that's the one that broke her in the States and I think there's a reason why. She's great on it AND the Sinfonietta is perfect.

It's not particularly Dietrich-like, but it's definitely Weimar-era.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

She's 20

That's unpossible!

You know what's also unpossible? I'll be 27 in less than two weeks.
