I think every office and school should be closed (with pay for workers) from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Nothing productive happens.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

An otherwise sane-seeming customer sent 3 emails overnight saying "Have you helped me yet? Have you helped me yet?" This is a customer I actually helped ahead of her turn (I had 30 emails ahead of her but one of her 2 problems was seemingly simple and I wanted to get that answer to her ASAP). So, like, if I'm helping you at noonish Pacific Time, what makes you think I'm there troubleshooting software issues and answering emails at 4am?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanksgiving up till now has been quite busy here, yet not productive. This frustrates.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am not sure about Thansgiving to Christmas, but Christmas to New Years? EVERYTHING not retail should close.

Today is moving so slowly that its ass is getting kicked in a speed trial by a three-toed sloth.

I'm all for extended winter holidays. With the days so short, how can anyone get anything done anyway?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm actually getting a lot done this week. I'm not exactly thrilled that I have to do so (we're over a week behind schedule), but it's kind of nice to feel like I'm accomplishing something.

The rapidly increasing soreness of my throat is less nice. I hope this doesn't mess with my Christmas plans.

I suppose I should clarify that while my day is moving like unto molasses, I am not lacking in vexatious work.

Coding and Sleeping

I was thinking just the other day, that the perfect Christmas card would combine a terrorist, Santa packing heat, the baby Jesus, a christmas tree, and explosives.
