Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If there were people, or I were out...but not by myself. I like falling asleep way too much to make up reasons not to do it.

However, falling back asleep bites. Tomorrow's going to bite anyway. Bleyecch. I can't even have ginger ale. Bastards.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think I got up just before 7 that day.

Being on vacation on the west coast with morning people means I basically never adjust to the time zone. I kind of like it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Osama's Homo-Bortion [something] Commie Jizzaporium.

I think it's "Osama's Homo-Bortion Pot and Commie Jizzaporium."

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Huh. I just got a notice that I have to register one (and only one) of my cats because the city of Belmont requires it.

Freakshow.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Why just one, Perkins? Seems to me if you have to register pets, you'd have to register all of them. Of course, I've never heard of registering cats.

Does that cat own a gun?

Is it a sex offender?

Oh, that makes more sense.

Or maybe it has a shortwave radio.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Maybe cats over a certain mass must be registered.
