Ewwwwwwwwww! (And ::snerk::!)
It is if the transportation system you choose was designed to replace the ferries from the railroad terminals in Jersey City and Hoboken.
You can take the PATH between two points in Manhattan without going to Jersey, can't you? Just not those two.
You know what? I love the internet. It's brought me more than a few people I really cherish.
However, it just isn't good enough. I want to sit on those people's couches and converse. I want to help those people paint or even troubleshoot. I want to rub the ears of dogs I like. I want to go out to a damned good breakfast before I'm normally awake and have a nice vent.
I want cool dinners and beer bottle vases that are pretty even for being beer bottles and good snark.
It's not fair.
We love you too sara.
( I really should go to bed, huh? I don't normally get this effusive and truthful unless altered and now? I'm probably just tired. And freaking out about OMG FAMILY ALLTOGETHER IN 2 DAYS.)
Do I order pizza or do I just not eat?

IIRC, there are two sets of tubes. One set went to the WTC from Jersey City, and the other from Hoboken to 33rd St. (under what used to be Gimbels), with the connecting line between the two on the Jersey side. The 33rd St line has three or four stops in Manhattan.
There's one passing reference to the fact that in some cases people are walking along roadsides with no sidewalks to get to the bus stop, but... I kept asking, "Why can't she walk?" I understand some people can't walk that far, and sometimes it's not safe, but they don't mention those things as factors.
Eh. I lived in a residential area in a suburb of Atlanta for a while, with very uncertain bus service. I'd walk the mile or so to where the grocery stores and stuff were, but it wasn't easy. And I'm a walker - I never even had a license until I was in my late 20s. It's not just no sidewalks - it honestly was walking on the very edge of a fast road or walking through uneven ditches. It was a bitch and a half.
I know that feeling, sara.
I got an email invite to someone's Boxing Day party. But I don't think that I know this person. But maybe I do?
