I look more rad than Lutheranism

Holiday gift for Steph.

I'm assuming that you mean one of the others.

Pretty sure she means me. I sleep with an aluminum baseball bat under my bed, within easy reach. But I had never given thought to a shield!

However, if I can just grab the maglite and swing for the rafters, I'm good. Cause wherever that sucker hits, it's gonna hurt.

That's per-zactly why I have the baseball bat within easy reach. Whatever I connect with is going to crumple and/or break.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cause wherever that sucker hits, it's gonna hurt.

True. I just think about missing, a lot. Though I could probably work the shinai like an escrima stick, and that's less of an issue in that style.

Pretty sure she means me

Merry Holidays!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

What else would make a good Holiday Tree topper?

One year we moved right before Christmas and couldn't find our normal toppers, so my brother and I put a stuffed, pink flamingo on top. It was cute.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Whedonesquers are not amused.

neither am I. that's incredibly offensive, and I'm not even Jewish.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Considering the title on the OINY page, it's pretty offensive.
Wow with the offensive.

And the not amusing even past the title makes it just somehow worst to me.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

most boring overheardinnewyork ever?

Totally.

brillig

I wonder how that table would look with a sword as the upright? 'Cause shield and sword is a classic.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does knowing it's completely par for the course make it more or less offensive?

(Asking because yes, I can see that it's an offensive title, but because that's the kind of thing OINY says all the time, and that's not even close to being the worst, it barely pinged me at all.)

Problems writing Leo out of West Wing. I haven't been watching, so the whole flashforward complication from earlier this season is news to me. And this is a man/character that deserves to be written out with ceremony.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

neither am I. that's incredibly offensive, and I'm not even Jewish.

neither is she for that matter
